Contest Rules: May – June 2025
To enter, participants must complete one or more of the actions listed in the sweepstakes. Engagement on Meta platforms (such as liking, commenting, or sharing posts) is appreciated but not required to enter or win. By entering the contest, you give Explore JCTX permission to email you.
Open to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Residents of ZIP code 78636 are not eligible to win. Johnson City employees, affiliates, elected representatives, vendors and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
The contest begins on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 12PM and ends on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 12PM. Entries submitted before or after the contest period will not be considered.
One (1) winner will receive:
– A one-night stay at Lonestar Lokal short-term rental (approximate value: $297). Free night may not be redeemed on a Saturday night. Winner may book a Friday night stay and add a paid Saturday. The cleaning fee will be waived if the winner books an extra night.
– A wine tasting experience for two at Pebble Rock Cellars (approximate value: $100).
– A gift voucher to Grace and Gratitude (value: $50).
Blackout dates for the vacation rental and wine tasting experience include May 23–27, July 3–6, and August 29–September 1, 2025. All prizes must be redeemed by November 15, 2025.
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the contest period. The winner will be notified by email within 5 business days of the contest closing. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, a new winner may be selected. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
To enter without signing up via the SweepWidget form, participants may send a written entry including their full name, email address, and phone number to May 2025 Giveaway C/O Whitney Walston PO Box 369 Johnson City, TX 78636. Mail-in entries must be received by Monday, June 9, 2025.
Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available. Winner is responsible for any incidental costs not mentioned above. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Explore JCTX, and the City of Johnson City, Texas and its affiliates from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation or acceptance of the prize. Void where prohibited.
